Our Company
Our client bank has grown over the years, so our team has too. Paula joined as a Protection Advisor in 2004. Hannah then joined as a Mortgage & Protection Advisor in 2017.
Established in 1989, David initially worked from home and then went on to work within a couple of local estate agents before setting up an office of his own in 1997 with Sharon, his wife. Our office is St Oswald’s House on Victoria Road, Hartlepool, however, we serve clients across the UK.
As an independent whole of market broker we can guarantee the most suitable recommendation for our clients. We deal with all residential and buy to let mortgages and welcome any type of enquiry.
We build lifelong relationships with our clients, as we don’t just arrange the initial purchase mortgage, we offer a mortgage review service to help you keep track of your mortgage. We will remind you in advance of the date your mortgage is due to expire, and present you with the options available for you. Our aim is to make your mortgage as easy to manage as possible. Director & Mortgage Advisor
David joined the Royal Navy after leaving school and then in 1989 he started out as a Financial Consultant with Legal & General. Initially selling insurance, investments, pensions and arranging the odd mortgage. He decided to specialise as a mortgage broker and set up his own company following this.
David is a Newcastle United fan, but a lover all sports. He enjoys keeping fit, going to gigs and reading.

Sharon Rafferty
Director & Business Manager
Sharon set up the business with David and has ran the business ever since. Taking care of all of the day to day running tasks, she is also a qualified mortgage advisor. Before this Sharon worked in social services.
Sharon loves spending her time gardening whenever the weather is pleasant. She also enjoys yoga, walking and reading.

Hannah Rafferty
Mortgage & Protection Advisor
Hannah has been a qualified mortgage and insurance advisor since 2017. Before making the jump over to the financial services industry, Hannah gained a degree in Events Management at Leeds Beckett University and worked within the international events industry.
Outside of work Hannah enjoys running, finding new coffee spots and baking.

Paula Boylan
Protection Advisor
Paula qualified as a mortgage and family related insurance advisor in 2004 and works alongside David’s cases. Paula started her career in the financial industry working for Barclays Bank in 1987. After this she worked towards further qualifications to enable her to become an insurance specialist.
Paula likes to spend her spare time with friends, going to gigs and camping.
